Croteau for Mayor benefit show tonight downtown

TUCSON -- Who says politics can't or shouldn't be fun?

Join the Greens tonight at Club Congress, 311 E. Congress St. from 7 PM to 9:30 PM for a fundraising concert for mayoral candidate Dave Croteau -- Tucson's choice for a sustainable future.

Doors open at 7 PM, and the music starts at 7:30.

The event features Caliche Con Carne ("Country meets chaos in a jar of salsa") with special guest Naim Amor, and perennial Tucson favorite, Chuck Wagon and Some Ol' Wheels ("Country Rock and Western Roll"). The powerful lyrics of Caliche con Carne will stimulate your mind and move your heart, while Chuck's music will stimulate your memories and move your feet.

Suggested donation is $10 or more--but all are welcome (including those of you who have already donated). We're getting real close to meeting the city's matching funds requirement, and the primary is over... so come help put us over the top as we kick off the general election season in style.

"If I can't dance I don't want to be in your revolution." Emma Goldman (1869- 1940)
