AZ retirees say DP is only choice for Rep in LD29

Arizona Alliance member fights for economic justice

TUCSON -- The Arizona Alliance for Retired Americans has announced its primary election endorsements for the state legislative races, including Daniel Patterson, Democrat for State House in district 29.

"It is a pleasure to endorse candidates that will advocate on behalf of retirees, seniors and their families. We feel confident that these candidates will share our passion in being a voice for retirees in this state," said Arizona Alliance for Retired Americans President Doug Hart.

I've listened to and worked with many retirees across the south and southeast sides in LD29, most on very limited incomes, who need our strong leadership and help at the State Capitol.

The Arizona Alliance for Retired Americans represents almost 10,000 members in seventeen chapters across the state. Their members participate in advocating and supporting legislation and public policies that protect the health and economic security of retirees, seniors, and their families. They endorse candidates for the Arizona Legislature who support and sponsor legislation that is beneficial to the improvement of the quality of life for members, retirees, and seniors.

The mission of the Arizona Alliance for Retired Americans is to ensure social and economic justice and full civil rights for all citizens so that they may enjoy lives of dignity, personal and family fulfillment and security.

In addition to Patterson as the only endorsed candidate in district 29, the Alliance also backs these other southern Arizona candidates: State Senate: Georgette Valle, LD30. State House: Pat Fleming, LD25; Nancy Young Wright and Don Jorgensen, LD26; Phil Lopes, LD27; and Andrea Dalessandro, LD30.
