Arizona leaders say Prop 200 is no reform, vote no

Stop unethical predatory lending

PHOENIX -- Proposition 200, a measure on Arizona’s November ballot, is a ploy by out-of-state predatory lenders to have their exemption from Arizona’s 36% interest rate cap extended indefinitely, said Attorney General Terry Goddard and other bi-partisan community leaders at a press conference Tuesday.

Arizona’s leaders are taking the right step by warning Arizonans about Prop 200.

Payday lenders want Prop 200 to pass so they can charge upwards of 400% interest rates rather than the 36% that would protect people from getting dragged down into a cycle of debt.

No matter what the payday industry says – Prop 200 is not reform and is not good for Arizona!

Vote NO on Prop 200 on Nov. 4th!
