Pima should keep Sox agreement, get AAA team

Pro baseball should replace Sox at TEPark

TUCSON -- Pima County officials should keep the Chicago White Sox in their 2012 lease deal, or risk losing the Colorado Rockies and Arizona Diamondbacks in Major League Baseball spring training.

If a new MLB team cannot be found, Pima County and baseball boosters could push an alternative for the ChiSox to help bring in a AAA Pacific Coast League team at TEPark to replace the Tucson Sidewinders, instead of youth baseball, which would be exciting to the parents and not many more.
