Hardly average maverick to spend $150k on looks

Man holding $150,000, perhaps handing it to Palin for her shopping spree?

WASHINGTON -- News today that McCain's Palin spent $150,000 of other peoples' money in September on new clothes, makeup and other cosmetic desires for her and her family.

Now, as a good looking candidate, I understand the need to look good on the campaign trail, but to spend $150k in just a month, which is more than most Americans make over several years, is excessive. It would sure seem, as a new Governor, Palin would already have a decent wardrobe.

The rich Republicans' out-of-touch lavish spending is fiscally irresponsible, and hardly the behavior of a self-proclaimed 'average American' or 'maverick'.
