Forest Service right to let more AZ wildfires burn

TUCSON -- I appreciate the US Forest Service recently made a good decision to let a natural wildfire burn on the Coronado National Forest just east of the city.

More fire in western forests is essential to restoring the health of the land, and the wetter summer monsoon season is a good time for beneficial blazes in the southwest.

Managing natural fire on American public lands also helps save taxpayers big money.
