More SW wolves tracked & killed; $52k reward

Killing endangered wolves is a serious and unethical crime.

TUCSON -- At least three more endangered Mexican gray wolves have been found shot dead in Arizona and New Mexico since last month.

A major problem for wolf recovery is the government giving livestock permitees and some local landowners radio receivers that allow easy tracking and illegal killing of endangered wolves. Conservationists are calling on the US Fish & Wildlife Service to end this unwise option.
