Phoenix air pollution today worst in many years

PHOENIX -- Worst air in years today over Maricopa County, said climate experts.

But this is progress and growth!?!

A few in bubbles make all the money and we huff all the diesel dust.

Bad air in Tucson too lately.

I pray for rain in this winter of severe drought. For the plants, for our souls, and to clean up the air.

Dreamy Draw and Piestewa Peak are near my home, and we hike these places often. From those elevated areas the brown cloud sometimes completely occludes the view of the Estrellas.

Peak oil will help ease this problem before we manage a fix for it, though.
