Michigan man's view of GM's big fall to bankruptcy

GM HQ in tough luck Detroit.

TUCSON -- I was born and raised in Lansing, Michigan, a proud GM (also state capital/government and university) city. I have a lot of good and bad thoughts about now-bankrupt GM, among them the fact that I, along with you fellow American citizen, now own 60% of it. I think I'll keep my day jobs.

Filmmaker Michael Moore, who also grew up in a GM town, and was one of the first to expose some big problems at GM with his movie 'Roger and Me', offers some interesting commentary on the future of General Motors.
