Nissan, Ford & GM electric cars charge up drivers

TUCSON -- I got a special drive of the new all-electric Nissan Leaf Saturday. It's a cool car, strong & quiet. Ford will unveil its all-electric Focus in 2011. Chevy also has the electric/hybrid Volt coming up.

Depending on the price, real-world range and vehicle charging options, these new cleaner electric cars could do very well in America.

I'm glad the electric car is back and I hope it's a big success, but I also still love my original zero-emissions vehicle, the bicycle.
